DESCRIPTION:
Dean Technology is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented person to fill a Systems Administrator roll in our Addison, TX facility. The systems administrator must install, maintain, monitor, and support a variety of server operating systems. Must also install and maintain a variety of server-side software including Epicor ERP, AutoCAD Vault, Microsoft SQL server, various Manage Engine products, Quest Rapid Recovery, and Quest Netvault/Qorestor. In addition to managing server infrastructure the Systems Administrator will also support our user base by resolving escalated helpdesk tickets, setting up VPN accounts, and modifying wireless access permissions.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Install, update, and troubleshoot Microsoft server 2012 – server 2022 operating systems
· Management of Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, NTFS, and Group Policy
· Install, administer, and support various server side softwares including Quest Netvault/Qorestor and Rapid Recovery backup solutions, Autocad Vault and Inventor, Epicor Kinetic ERP, various Manage Engine products including Endpoint Central, Service Desk Plus, and Opmanager.
· Assist with network firewall management including user and client VPN setup and access rule configurations.
· Troubleshoot network issues and provide resolutions while maintaining PCI and NIST 800-171 compliance where applicable.
· Maintain wiring in server and network racks and running new Cat6 cabling in building as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prior experience working under and knowledge of PCI compliance
· Prior experience working under and knowledge of NIST 800-171
· Prior experience working with Sonicwall and Ubiquiti products
· Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
· Minimum 10 years experience working with Microsoft Active Directory
PREFERABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Creating Office 365 and Azure Active Directory (Identity) users and mailboxes, tracing inbound/outbound email as necessary, configuring Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) 2fa authentication with external systems.
· Systems Admin should be capable of mentoring end users about proper information security best practices including spotting and reporting malicious emails to IT. Sys Admin should be capable of evaluating email message headers and submitting to domain/ISP abuse contacts.
· Maintain accurate software, license, and hardware inventory in Service Desk Plus
